Our SCGOPHCG Employee of the Month Award winner for April is Genevieve Jones Registered Midwife at Osborne Park Hospital.

Genevieve was nominated by Justine Huggins, CNM OPH Women’s and Newborn Services who said Genevieve encompasses everything you would want if you could handpick your own private midwife - the perfect nurturer who always puts her patients and their families first.

Genevieve was recently involved in a rare and complex obstetric case and displayed incredible compassion and empathy to the family, voluntarily advocating to conduct home visits to maintain continuity of care.

Justine said Genevieve is patient focused, empowering, caring, empathetic, nurturing, safe, kind and genuine. 

“Genevieve is professional and supportive and consistently strives to provide continuity of care to women and their babies, building trust and rapport with her patients,” said Justine.

Congratulations Genevieve, thank you for living our values. You deserve this recognition and we commend you for your dedication and compassion.

Genevieve and her colleagues will be invited to a catered afternoon tea where she will be presented with a $150 gift voucher from our sponsors.
