Patients and Visitors

Osborne Park Hospital (OPH) provides specialist health care services for the community in the north metropolitan area. The hospital has 186 beds and employs over 596 staff who treat over 95,000 patients every year. 

OPH is a publicly-funded hospital.  Patients who are eligible for Medicare receive free treatment. Patients who are not eligible for Medicare are required to pay for treatment. Information about Medicare eligibility is available at www.medicare.gov.au (external site).

Patients are generally referred to OPH for treatment by their GP or another specialist. If you need medical advice contact your GP or HealthDirect Australia on 1800 022 222.
