Friends of Osborne Park Hospital Kiosk

The Friends of Osborne Park Hospital (FoOPH) is a welcoming, community-run kiosk located within the hospital.

It provides snacks, beverages and comfort items to patients, visitors and staff, creating a friendly and supportive space within the hospital environment.

The kiosk offers:

  • Fresh, made-to-order sandwiches
  • Hot and cold beverages
  • A selection of hot and cold pastries
  • Gifts and comfort items, including chocolates, get-well cards, and a variety of knitted goods

Volunteers are the heart of the kiosk, they bring warmth, compassion and a sense of community into the hospital. Their contribution strengthens the hospital’s ability to provide holistic care.

Responsibilities may include:

  • greeting and assisting customers with purchases,
  • operating the cash register and handling simple transactions, and
  • providing a friendly presence for patients and families.

Shifts are available between 8am to 2pm Monday to Friday.
