Your doctor may give you a form for one brand of diagnostic imaging provider. You are free to choose your own provider as long as they offer the scan you need.

Appointments are necessary for all OPH Radiology scans except x-rays and dental imaging which can be accommodated on a walk-in basis.

On the day of your appointment
Please ensure you have followed any necessary preparation instructions.
Please bring your referral (if not already provided at the time of booking), your Medicare card and any previous relevant reports or images.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment so we can review your details and discuss any necessary requirements.
Our radiologists and medical imaging technologists are happy to answer questions about your medical imaging procedure, however you will not receive your results from the technologist who performed the examination. The results will be sent to your referring practitioner. It is important that you discuss the results with the doctor or health professional who referred you so that they can explain what the results mean for you.
Please advise if you require us to forward your results to a health practitioner other than the one that referred you.
