Thank you to the amazing Ward 5 staff at OPH

A grateful family whose husband/father received care at Osborne Park Hospital presented staff with a hamper and card - here is their message of thanks.

"To the amazing Ward 5 staff - doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, OT's, social workers, ward clerks, cleaners and food service assistance,

Sincere and heartfelt thanks for all the care given to our much loved husband and father.

You will always hold a special place in our hearts for your kindness to us as a family in our sadness.

[Patient] received and was always grateful for the loving, supportive and encouraging care he received in 2015 and again in 2020 from his Ward 5 "family".

He was passionate about his role as a volunteer in the Stroke Unit. His caring, happy positive disposition made him perfect for that role as he encouraged other patients to move forward in their therapies.

His beautiful smile was always evident when he was on Ward 5.

To have him spend his final days within your care was such a blessing to him and we his family as we surrounded him in love.

You are a very special group of health professionals and very much appreciated.
