Diabetes Services

Osborne Park Hospital provides adult inpatient diabetes care and gestational diabetes care.

Inpatient diabetes care provides support and care for patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes during their hospital stay.

Gestational diabetes care is provided by the Women and Newborn Health Service’s antenatal team. Find out more on gestational diabetes (external site).

Outpatient adult diabetes GP referrals can be made via central referrals to the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH) Endocrinology Medical Team as there currently is no outpatient adult diabetes clinics at OPH.

The multi-disciplinary diabetes clinic at SCGH provides a broad diagnosis and management service led by the Endocrinology Medical Team. The unit has access to excellent facilities in diabetes education, dietetics and podiatry, and is active in diabetes research and in teaching, including nurse educators.

For more information, please visit Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital - Endocrinology and Diabetes (external site).

OPH Diabetes Staff
